Mrs. Susan Lyle Rampley, age 49, of 12 Indian River Road, Lindale, passed away on Monday morning, July 23, 2012, at a local hospital.

Mrs. Rampley was born in Carrollton, Georgia on July 6, 1963, daughter of Emerson Lyle and Dianne King Lyle. She was a member of the Pleasant Valley South Baptist Church. Mrs. Rampley worked for a number or years as a Dental Assistant with Dr. Steve Taylor.

Survivors include her husband, Ricky Rampley, to whom she was married on August 13, 1983; a daughter, Miss Meagan Renee Rampley, Louisville, KY; a son, Wesley Lyle Rampley, Lindale; her parents, Emerson and Dianne Lyle, Huntsville, AL; 2 sisters, Mrs. Jan Lyle Caldwell, and her husband, Tom, Rome, and Mrs. Mary Ann Lyle McCrary, and her husband, George, Huntsville, AL; 4 nephews, Jesse and Justin Rutledge, and William and Ethan McCrary; a grandmother, Mrs. Delvena King, Bowdon; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Paul and Juanita Rampley, Rome; brothers-in-law, Rex and Ray Rampley; special friends, Beth Taylor and Diane Jones; aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2012, at 2pm at the Pleasant Valley South Baptist Church with her Pastor, Dr. Philip May, and the Rev. Benji Mathis officiating. Interment will follow in Rome Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the Pleasant Valley South Baptist Church on Wednesday from 5 until 8pm, and on Thursday from 1pm until the service time. At other hours they may be contacted at the residence.

Pallbearers are asked to assemble at the church on Thursday at 1:30pm and include: John Rutledge, Jesse Rutledge, Justin Rutledge, Andrew Bailey, Seth Byrd, and Rex Rains.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Pleasant Valley South Baptist Church, P. O. Box 519, Silver Creek, GA 30173.
