Condolence From: Jerry Byers
Condolence: JW was a fine man, a hard worker and a voice to be heard. He was my first FDIC supervisor in Athens, GA and I was with him on his last job in Tampa, FL where he worked up to the end taking on whatever task was necessary to finish the job. His work here is done, may he rest in peace.

Condolence: I just learned of JW's passing and wish to express my condolences to the entire extended Ray family. I first met JW as a young examiner during the early 1970s when he was the supervisor in Tampa and I was a young examiner in the old Hollywood Field Office. JW always had a kind word for me, and I respected and admired him greatly. May he rest in peace with God and may God bless the family.

Condolence: Mignonne and I were saddened to learn of the death of your father. He and your mother, Betty Jean, were such good friends during the early years of my career with the FDIC. Even after his transfer to Florida we enjoyed visits to his home, at conferences and I had the good fortune to work with him many times. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.
