Condolences

Condolence From: Joan Clare
Condolence: Dear Myrna. Have just recently learned the sad news about your husband. Having Sarah and her family in Japan must make this more difficult for all of you. For I miss Kerry at the best of times. I suspect you are contented that Dan managed to visit Sarah and your new granddaughter this year. However I am sure this does not ease your pain. I will be thinking of you in the days ahead. Sincerely, Joan Clare

Condolence From: Gary Wallace
Condolence: A prayer for Peeler: Most glorious God,,, Author of all good and giver of all mercy, Pour down thy blessing upon us and strengthen our solemn engagements by the ties of sincere affection. May the present instance of mortality remind us of our approaching fate and draw out attention toward thee; the only refuge in time of need that when the final moment shall arrive when we shall be about to quit this transitory scene, the enlivening prospect of thy mercy may dispel the gloom of death and after our departure hense in pease and in thy favor we may be recieved into thine everlasting kingdom to enjoy in union with our departed friends the just reward of a pious and virtious life. His spirit ascends to God who gave it. His memory we cherish in our hearts. His body we consign to the earth. Goodbye Dan. See you soon.

Condolence From: Mark Hunt
Condolence: I am so sorry to hear of Dan's passing. I am a fellow "wallie", and Dan's posts were ALWAYS a pleasure to read. He was easily the friendliest guy on the wall. I lost my Dad the same way, sudden heart attack. He passed two months before my first child was born. I know the pain you are feeling. If I had a word that I could speak to make your pain go away, I would speak it. But I do not. I know that everything is dark right now, I know that nothing seems right. To Dan's children: Know this, he lived every day from the moment you were born preparing you for the day when he couldn't be there to take care of you. He loved you more than he loved his own life. He was a Dad, and Dad's LOVE their babies. I send to all of you, the tightest hugs and the most sincere prayers. He is in a better place now. Believe that. My deepest sympathy, Mark H

Condolence From: Rick Copeland
Condolence: Dear Myrna The events of the last few days seem so unreal. I can't believe that Dan is gone. We had a friendship that has lasted over so many years, from Peel Marine to Trent Contracting to heating jobs. He was a special friend who freely shared his parents with me. For that I will always be thankful. As you know, they hold a special place in my heart. Please know that you are constantly in our thoughts and prayers. In the days ahead we will be there for you. All our love Rick and Janice

Condolence From: Steve and Kathy Ebels
Condolence: To all of Dan's family: I met your husband/father at the first Wetstock, a gathering of hydronics professionals in Boston. We had a long conversation ranging from work related topics to world affairs to family and everything inbetween. It became very apparent during our visit that his family was deeply loved and the highest thing on his list of priorities. We shared the frustrations often felt by someone whose work interferes with what he would rather be doing with his family and loved ones. Recently, we had met again at a trade show in Boston. We didn't get to spend much time together there but it was great to see him again and we enjoyed a few moments of "catching up" with each other's worlds. My family will be praying for yours that you may find comfort in this time of deep sorrow and change in your lives. Take time to grieve but remember that life does indeed go on, even when we wish it would not. To Dan's children, I know exactly what you are dealing with. I lost my father when I was 27. It is ironic but I noticed that Dan passed away at the same age, right to the day, from the same cause that my father did. The shock of a sudden, unexpected death is tough to deal with. I sat with my Dad in church, at the Sunday service that afternoon and 2 hours later he was gone. Hold each other close and deal with everything one day at a time. You too, will get through it. With all our prayers and love Steve & Kathy Ebels Falmouth, Michigan
