Passed away peacefully in his 35th year, on Monday June 2nd, 2012 at his home in Woodbridge, Ontario. Born August 18th, 1977 in Brampton, Ontario then moved to Richmond Hill in 1980 where he grew up with a love for life, hockey and his family. Devoted husband to Meni and adoring father to Michael Jr. Beloved son of Janet and Dominic. He leaves behind his loving sisters Lisa (Matthew Rattray) and Jennifer, mother-in-law Levanta Vassilakos, brother-in-law Tommy Vassilakos and grandmother, Doreen Hunter. Michael: You were taken from us before your time but have left a permanent imprint on our hearts. Family and friends will be received at R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, North York) on Thursday, July 5th, 2012 from 1-9pm. The Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 6th, 2012 at 9:30am at St. Paschal’s Baylon Roman Catholic Church (92 Steeles Avenue West, North York). Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in the Holy Family Mausoleum.
