Patrick Lynn Dies, 56, of Charlotte, passed away unexpectedly on June 17, 2012 at his residence.

He was born on March 15, 1956 to Ernie and Pauline (Lynd) Dies in Charlotte. He was a graduate of Maple Valley High School, and for 30 years Patrick worked in the GM Parts warehouse in Lansing, and was a former Vermontville Fire Department volunteer. Pat worked at 0.I. in Charlotte previous to hiring in at General Motors where he worked until his retirement in 2006.

Patrick is survived by his daughter - Ashley Dies of Redmond WA; son - Joshua Dies of Charlotte, MI; mother, Pauline Dies; 2 sisters - Pam (Dennis) Woodworth of Whitmore Lake, MI, Cheryl (Darren) Ayles of Nashville, MI; 3 brothers - Charles (Jude) Dies of Charlotte, MI, Steven Dies of Nashville, MI, Dennis (Dottie) Dies of Indian River, MI, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Ernie Dies in 1986, and brothers, Rod Dies In 1988 and, William Dies In 2005.

Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 pm Tuesday June 19, 2012 at Pray Funeral Home, Charlotte, Michigan.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, June 20, 2012 , at the funeral home, with Rev. Rich Mitterling as Celebrant. Interment will follow on the family lot in Woodlawn Cemetery, Vermontville.
