Middleville

Went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, June 13, 2012. June was born June 17, 1919, in Hudsonville, the daughter of William and Dorris (Morrill) Burgess. June was a long time member of the Parmalee Methodist Church, she enjoyed spending time with her family, and looked forward to going out to go out to eat with her family and friends. She is survived by her children: Paul (Anne) Tungate of Clarkston, MI and Mary Beth Witte of Spring Lake, MI, four grandchildren: Jeff (Kelley) Tungate, Steve (Rachel) Tungate, Scott (Julie) Witte and Doug Witte, six great-grandchildren, a brother; Vern (Sally) Burgess of Hopkins, MI and a sister-in-law; Judy (Bill) VanSetten of Grand Rapids, and several nieces and nephews. June was preceded in death by her husband, Clair Tungate, a brother, Merlend Burgess, sisters, Myrtle Mae Freemann and Esther Kelley, a son-in-law, Dale Witte. A funeral service will be conducted, Saturday, June 16, 2012, at 1:00 PM at the Beeler-Gores Funeral Home with Pastor Vance Dimmick officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 Noon until the time of service. Private burial will take place in Parmalee Cemetery.
