TOMCIK, Magda -Passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital, on Monday, June 11th, 2012 in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Frank Tomcik (1996). She is survived by her sister Vilma. Predeceased by her brother Ludovit and one sister Vierka. She will be fondly remembered by nieces, nephews and her many close friends. Magda was a very fun loving person. She was a long time member of the Catholic Church, both in Hamilton and in Brantford. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford on Sunday, June 17th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for the Deceased will be held at the funeral home on Sunday at 8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Pius X Church, on Monday, June 18th, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory on Magda in the Beckett-Glaves Memorial Forest.
