Obituary for Fred Donald Fanz

Fred D. Fanz - Age 86 - of Weirton, WV., a former resident of Wapakoneta, Ohio and Gulfport, Florida, died Sunday December 30, 2001 at the Weirton Geriatric Center - Weirton, WV.
He was born October 15, 1915 in Houston, Texas, the son of the late Fred C. and Burdina Drake Fantz.
Fred was a member of the Gulfport United Methodist Church - Gulfport, Florida.
He was a 50+ year member of Hamer Masonoc Lodge #167 F.& A.M. in Wapakoneta, Ohio / Past High Priest of Royal Arch Masons Chapter #183 in Wapakoneta / Koneta Chapter #385 Order of Eastern Star in Wapakoneta.
Fred was retired as the owner of Bay Machine Shop in Gulfport, Florida and had also been a high pressure welder and a home building contractor.
His survivors are:
Wife: Maxine Mae Shaw Fantz of Weirton, WV.
2 Daughters: Suzanne ( George ) Enochs of Toronto, Ohio
Nancy Jane ( William ) Palke of Santa Barbara, California
4 Grandchildren: Melanie Ann ( Vince ) Dragoun of Wintersville, Ohio
Fred D. ( Jennifer ) Enochs of Houston,Texas
Tom ( Keri ) Palke and Amy Palke of San Francisco, CA.
2 Great Granddaughters: Madison Nichole Enochs of Houston, Texas
Claire Palke of San Francisco, CA.
Brother: Paul Fantz of St. Louis, MO.
There will be no visitation and private services will be held at a later date. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Wapakoneta, Ohio.
