Obituary for Michael Max Pracon

Michael Max Pracon, 52, of Windsor and formerly of Hartford and Rocky Hill, peacefully passed away on Friday, (May 4, 2012) at Kimberly Hall Nursing Home, Windsor. Born in Hartford on June 30, 1959, a son of the late Michael M. and Anna (Bazan) Pracon, he had been a life-long resident of the Hartford/Rocky Hill area. Michael attended Hartford Public High School and was a former worker for the town of Rocky Hill. He was a member of Grace Christian Fellowship in Wethersfield and was an avid fisherman. Besides his parents; he was predeceased by two sisters, Jerilyn LaFargue of East Hartford, and Michelle Pracon of Hartford. Michael leaves behind a sister, Barbara Violette in Tennessee; many nieces and nephews; and several dear friends.
Memorial services will be on Wednesday, May 9 at 11 a.m. at the D'Esopo-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford with Pastor Philip F. Mawaka officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Saint Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society , 825 Brook Street, I-91 Tech Center, Rocky Hill, CT 06067. Michael's family would like to extend their sincere gratitude and appreciation to the entire staff at Kimberly Hall-South Nursing Home, (especially Tammy, Elaine, and Denise) for their professionalism, support, care, and compassion over the past two years given to Michael and his entire family.
