Anne Demus Winter, 72, of Florence, passed away Friday, March 23, 2012 at ECM Hospital. She was a member of the Oakdale Baptist Church where she served as the pianist for many years.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 25, 2012 from 6 – 9 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Monday, March 26, 2012 at 3 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with the Rev. James Lee officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.

Mrs. Winter was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Winter; grandson, Justin Borden; brother, Jimmie Demus; parents, Rev. Nick and Christine Demus.

She is survived by her sons, Kenny and Paul Winter; daughters, Dianne Castile, Sharon Borden (Steve); sisters, Irene Bevis, Lois Gray; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Trent Cox, Gene Moore, Larry Miller, Donald Jackson, Herman Terry, and Michael Ivey.
