Anna Spencer, 93, of Camillus, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2012 at home. Born in Solvay on Sunday, November 3, 1918, she was the daughter of Stanley Owczarek and Anna Rychter Owczarek. In the early 1950s she moved to Camillus. She was a charter member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church and member of the Altar Guild. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Anna was predeceased by her husband, John J. Spencer Sr., on February 23, 2008.

Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, John and Sherry Spencer Jr. of Binghamton; sisters, Stella Warren of Camillus and Veronica Van Buren of Mattydale; grandchildren, John J. Spencer III, Jennifer (Mark) Spencer Brown, Judith (Jim) Wasley and Jeffrey Spencer; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Services and calling hours will be private. Arrangements are by the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus.

Anna will be laid to rest in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
