Mr. Bobby Davis Rogers, 70 of Marshville, died Sunday evening at CMC-Main in Charlotte. Born June 15, 1941, he was a son of the late Reece and Minnie Elliott Rogers.
A funeral service to celebrate the life of Bobby will be held Wednesday at 2pm from the chapel of Morgan & Son Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Marshville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
Mr. Rogers is survived by his loving wife, Sarah Collins Rogers of the home; sons, Bob Rogers, Jr. and his wife Cathy of Conway, SC and Jeff Rogers and his wife Amy of Marshville; daughter, Debbie Patterson and her husband Scott of Monroe; brothers, Dan Rogers of Tacoma, WA and Benny Rogers of Nichols, SC; sisters, Earline Smithey of Mullins, SC and Olivia Elliott of Nichols, SC; four grandchildren, Haley Patterson, Caleb Rogers, Leslie Rogers and Sammi Rogers.
The family suggests memorials be made to the America Lung Association or to Victory Junction, 4500 Adam’s Way, Randleman, NC 27317.
