Condolence From: William H. (Jack) Casey
Condolence: Taylor, Fain, Hubie, Angie, and Kim, I will never forget how you guys took care of your Dad. While spending a week with him last July He gave all you children the sweetest compliments, how proud he was of you and how lucky he was to have children like you to take care of him. We talked for hours one night and he kept coming back to you guys and how very much he loved you. God bless you all.

Condolence: Major General Fred Casey was a man of enormous stature who was respected and admired by all who knew him. I feel privileged and honored to have known this man and am terribly saddened by his passing. Those of us who knew Fred learned so much at his side and deeply mourn his loss. A genuine hero has left us and we are all lesser for it. Charles F. (Chuck) Hurlbut

Condolence From: Ralph and Nancy Hammett
Condolence: To all family members of Major General Fred Casey:

We are so very sorry to hear of Fred's passing. He and Ann were always such a great couple. They always talked about their children, of whom they were very proud. Fred will be missed by many friends and neighbors in Jacksonville. Ann and I (Nancy) once went to Camp Blanding, Florida where Ralph and Fred were at annual training (National Guard). I drove, and Ann ate fruit and talked. She ate ALL of each piece of fruit, including the orange peel, the apple peel and core!(Anyone who knew Ann knew she was a health food "nut"). We talked and laughed a lot on that trip. When she passed, everyone in Jacksonville missed her; and still do. She always walked a lot. She once told me, jokingly, that anyone who walks around the neighborhood after the people get home from work, surely can learn a LOT about them! She was always a "hoot"; and Fred had to be quiet, I guess. Those two will ALWAYS be missed. May God bless you "kids".
