To all family members of Major General Fred Casey: We are so very sorry to hear of Fred's passing. He and Ann were always such a great couple. They always talked about their children, of whom they were very proud. Fred will be missed by many friends and neighbors in Jacksonville. Ann and I (Nancy) once went to Camp Blanding, Florida where Ralph and Fred were at annual training (National Guard). I drove, and Ann ate fruit and talked. She ate ALL of each piece of fruit, including the orange peel, the apple peel and core!(Anyone who knew Ann knew she was a health food "nut"). We talked and laughed a lot on that trip. When she passed, everyone in Jacksonville missed her; and still do. She always walked a lot. She once told me, jokingly, that anyone who walks around the neighborhood after the people get home from work, surely can learn a LOT about them! She was always a "hoot"; and Fred had to be quiet, I guess. Those two will ALWAYS be missed. May God bless you "kids".
