Mom, I swear you talk through Nicholas sometimes. I was in heavy tears the other night, Nic came up to me and asked me what was wrong..I said I missed my mom, he placed his hand on my heart and said, "Dont be sad, gramma is alwasy in your heart" What 5 year old thinks to say that! When the sky is pink he says "gramma made that sky for you" Nic tells me all the time that you want to buy me things that look like a rainbow..not sure what that means but its so sweet! Today you have been gone for one year. I still cant make sense of it, maybe never will. Kobe misses you so much too. He came up to me tonight in the middle of me washing my face, turned the water off and gave me a big hug saying "I know its hard because its been a year but remember Gramma has two legs to walk on and she can hug you with two arms now" That was the sweetest thing...Nic often wonders when you are going to catch a flight from heaven and come visit...He must think there is quite the delay at the airport! Words can not describe how much I miss you, I need you more now than ever but you always give me strength to move forward. You have built such a strong foundation for us as a family that I will always be thankful for. Words can not express how much I miss you...Love always Mandy
