Obituary for Ann T. Perrino

Ann T. Perrino went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday, August 14, 2007. Ann resided at the Mohawk Valley Nursing Home since January 2007, and previously, lived at Rockton Plaza in Little Falls. She was born on April 20, 1930 in Manhattan, New York City, NY, daughter of the late Alfonso and Mary Camporeale. Ann was a graduate of the New York City School System. She was married to Vincent J. Perrino on July 2, 1949 until his passing on December 13, 1985. Ann is survived by her children, Alanna M. Fredericks and husband Richard of Herkimer and John J. Perrino and wife Marybeth of Apalachin, NY; her grandchildren, Mathew Fredericks, Jonathan A. Fredericks, Nicholas Perrino, Daniel Perrino, Amanda Perrino, and Vincent Perrino; and her great-granddaughter, Kayleigh Rose Fredericks. She also leaves her in-laws, John and Anita Perrino, Domenick and Rosemary Perrino, of Little Falls, Grace Buccafurno and Louise Volk of Herkimer, and Anne Colistra of Amsterdam. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly, and her devoted and faithful friend, Edith Vedder. Her dear niece, Anita Leuzzi, predeceased her. Ann was employed by several dress factories, MDS, and most recently, as a teachers? assistant at the Little Falls Central School on Monroe Street. Ann was a member of the DeCarlo-Staffo Post Auxiliary, Holy Family Parish Rosary Society, Home Bureau of Little Falls, and the Rock City Senior Citizens. Ann enjoyed family gatherings most and loved to cook for them all, often sharing her treats with many, especially her ?taralle.? She was an avid cookbook collector, amassing over 500 cookbooks. Her other hobbies included knitting, crocheting and baking. At one time, she crafted all of the table decorations for the Christian Businesswoman?s Luncheons, which she enjoyed attending. She hosted Bible studies in her home for many years. Her love for the Lord was apparent in all she did. Her fondest memories were of times spent with her friends and family and especially enjoying Sunday dinners at ?Anne?s.? She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Funeral services will be held at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe Street, Little Falls (823-2424) on Friday, August 17, 2007 at 11:30 am. The family will receive visitors at the funeral parlor one hour prior to the funeral service. Cremation has taken place and burial at St. Mary?s Cemetery, town of Herkimer, will follow the funeral.
