Obituary for Susan Klch

Susan (Mizerak) Klch, 91, of the St. Johnsville Nursing Home and a former long time Little Falls resident, passed away on Friday April 27, 2007 at St. Mary?s Hospital, Amsterdam, NY. She was born August 28, 1915 in Miava, Czechoslovakia, the daughter of the late John Mizerak, Sr. and Katherine (Gekanek) Mizerak. Sue was educated in Cherry Valley schools. Her marriage to Paul Klch took place in Little Falls. Mr. Klch passed away on August 16, 1985. Mrs. Klch was last employed at the former MDS in Herkimer. With family as her foremost priority, Sue proved her self a loving and caring mother and grandmother. One of her favorite past times was baking Slovak cookies. In her leisure in her early years she enjoyed playing basketball. Survivors include her daughter, Jean E. Countryman and husband Gerald of St. Johnsville, a son, Paul Klch and wife Toni of Little Falls, a sister, Betty Olesin of Mahwah, NJ, three sisters-in-law, Bea Mizerak of Esperance, NY, Emily Mizerak of Greenwich, NY, and Ann Brown of Hobe Sound, Florida, four granddaughters, Janette Countryman and friend Quinn Stykes of Marlbough, Mass, Dr. Jacqueline Countryman and husband Robert Brenner, Esq. Of Beavercreek, Ohio, Janice Countryman and fianc? Frank Golda of Meza, Arizona, & Jeri Countryman and husband Kevin Walsh of San Francisco, CA., three great grandchildren, Nicholas, Jacob & Robert Brenner, several nieces & nephews, several step-grandchildren, and special friends Walter & Joyce Maytan. She was pre-deceased by her grandson Jerome Countryman, daughter-in-law, Carol Klch, brothers, John, Steve, Samuel, & Daniel Mizerak and sisters, Anna Schroeder and Christine Snyder. Graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday May 5, 2007 at 11:00 am at Holy Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Little Falls, NY. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls, NY. In lieu of flowers please make all memorial contributions to the Jerome Countryman Scholarship Fund, Rochester Institute of Technology, Office of Development, 116 Lomb Memorial Dr., Rochester, NY 14623.
