Cecelia N. Reystead, age 75, passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2008 at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on May 31, 1933 in Jewell, Kansas, the daughter of Cecil and Viola Bunch Townsden. A resident of Scott County & Scott City, Kansas since 1963 moving from Meade, Kansas, she was owner and operator of Gene's Appliance in Scott City.
Memberships include the First Christian Church of Scott City, Kansas.
On August 23, 1951 she married Harold Gene Reystead in Mankato, Kansas. He passed away on March 27, 2006 in Hays, Kansas.
Other Survivors include Two Sons - Mike & Debbie Reystead of Haswell, Colorado, Richard Reystead of Scott City, Kansas, One Daughter - LeAnne & Bart Hunt of Scott City, Kansas, Two Sisters - Glora Hoel of Beloit, Kansas and Janette & Donald Barrett Randall, Kansas, One Brother in Law - John Barry of Baldwin, Kansas, One Sister in Law - Sylvia Ortman of San Anselmo, CA, Five Grandchildren, Nine Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, and One Sister – Besselouise Barry.
Funeral Services will be held at the First Christian Church in Scott City, Kansas at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 25, 2008 with the Rev. Jeff Knighton presiding.
Interment will be held in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas.

Visitation will be at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday and 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Saturday.
