Mrs. Verjean Spanagel Nead, age 81, of Bedford, Kentucky, formerly of Lawrenceburg, Indiana. Verjean entered this life on April 21, 1928 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. She was the daughter of Charles Robert & Adeline C. Linden Spanagel. She was raised in Lawrenceburg and graduated from Greendale High School. She was united in marriage to William Harold Nead and this union was blessed with one son, William Charles. She was employed as a legal secretary for twenty years in Dearborn County and had worked for Judge Lowen & Judge Baker. She resided in Lawrenceburg until 1985 and moved to Louisville, Kentucky for several years. She had resided in Bedford, Kentucky the past fifteen years. She loved Big Band Music and being with her family. Verjean died Friday, February 5, 2010 at 4:15 p.m. at the Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.

Mrs. Nead will be missed by her loving son: William Charles Nead & his wife: Barbara of Bedford, Kentucky; her step grandchildren: Kimberly Minch & T.J. Parr. She was preceded in death by her parents: Charles Robert & Adeline C. Linden Spanagel; her husband: William Harold Nead died: July 19, 1995; her brother: Robert Spanagel.





GRAVESIDE CEREMONY

Monday, 2:00 p.m. February 8, 2010 at the Greendale Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.





VISITATION

Visitation Monday from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
