Linda Kay Dorrell "Punkin  Gross

Mrs. Linda Kay Dorrell "Punkin" Gross, age 63, of Madison, Indiana, entered this life on October 10, 1946, in Milan, Indiana. She was the daughter of Malvin & Virginia Smith Dorrell, both of whom preceded her in death. She was united in marriage on Sept. 20, 1968, in Madison, Indiana to Paul E. "Pete" Gross, I. To this union arrived three sons and five daughters to bless their home. She was a devoted wife, mother & grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, collecting candles, crocheting and embroidery work. She lived most of her life in Jefferson County and was a member of the Faith Alliance Church. Linda died Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at 7:35 p.m. at The Water's of Clifty Falls in Madison, Indiana. The family of Linda would like to thank the Water's of Clifty Falls for all their help and great care.

Linda will be missed by her loving husband: Paul E. "Pete" Gross, I of Madison, Indiana; her loving sons: Paul E. Gross, II & his wife: Tonya of Madison, Indiana, Thomas Gross of Carrollton, Kentucky, Peter Gross & his wife: Misty of Madison, Indiana; her loving daughters: Martha Pennington of Anderson , South Carolina, Paula Steelman & her husband: Jimmy of Carrollton, Kentucky, Christy Gaylord & her husband: Charles of Madison, Indiana, Samantha Humphrey & her husband: Mike of Madison, Indiana, Mary Emma Kennett & her husband: Robert of Madison, Indiana; 46-grandchildren; 17-great grandchildren & other relatives; friend & caregiver: Kerry "Bear" Hord of Madison, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents: Malvin & Virginia Smith Dorrell; her great grandson: Ryan Michael Wayne Walters died: Feb. 24, 2009.





FUNERAL CEREMONY

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, February 1, 2010 at 1:00 p.m., by Pastor Bob Leach at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Springdale Cemetery in downtown Madison, Indiana.





VISITATION

Friends may call Monday from 11:00 a.m. until time of the service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
