She was predeceased by her parents, husband, and a daughter, Donna James.

Mrs. Maliniak's funeral service will be conducted by the Reverend Ivan Semko at St. Mary's Ukrainian Orthodox Church on Moore Avenue, Herkimer at 10 am on Thursday, March 10, 2011. There are no calling hours. She will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband, Martin, at St. Mary's Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery in the spring.
